TO ALL COMMUNITY MINDED VOLUNTEERS:
The Marshall Area Farmers' Market is an excellent opportunity for our community to experience quality local foods, products, and entertainment. For the past two years since we opened on Green Street, the Farmers Market has become a Saturday destination for families and friends of all ages to enjoy.
Even though we have a part-time market manager, the bulk of our work is done via volunteers!
During the last 7 years, over 225 volunteers contributed over 3668 hours! Our community is greatly enriched by the contributions of our wonderful volunteers. They are the fuel that keeps our market running.
We are reaching out to individuals, churches, youth groups, high school and college students and organizations to support the Marshall Area Famers’ Market by volunteering!
Perhaps your church, organization or friends group would consider taking a couple of Market Saturdays to staff with volunteers? The Market runs from first Saturday in May to last Saturday in August.
If you have an interest in food, sustainability, community development, or farmers markets and would like to get involved, we’d love to have your help! We value our volunteers and have many ways that you can get involved and give back to the Market. Wherever your skills, talents and interests lie, the Marshall Area Farmers’ Market would love to have you join our family.
